After breakfast, get ready for an exciting tour of some of the most famous sights in Egypt. We'll start with the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, and the Sphinx, which is the largest monolithic statue in the world and the first known example of colossal sculpture. Nearby, you'll see the Valley Temple, which was built by King Chefren in the 26th century BCE and used for mummy preservation.
Next, we'll head to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which is famous for its vast collection of Egyptian treasures and monuments. You'll have the opportunity to see the Tutankhamun collection and other outstanding pharaonic art objects.
After that, we'll stroll through Cairo's historic downtown streets, starting with the impressive medieval Salah El-din Citadel and its enclosed Mohamed Ali alabaster mosque, once a barrier against the Crusaders. You'll be able to enjoy awe-inspiring vaulted ceilings, hanging lights, and metropolitan views from this former fortress. In the evening, you can explore the Khan El Khalili Old Market and the Old Cairo churches.
For a memorable experience, you can sign up for a fantastic dinner cruise down the Nile River. Enjoy a two-hour trip while savoring an Egyptian-style dinner and live entertainment. After the cruise, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you'll take a short flight to Luxor, which is around 420 kilometers away from Cairo (676 kilometers by road). One of the day's highlights is a visit to the Karnak Temple, which is the largest remaining temple in Egypt. Established during the Middle Kingdom, it was once a significant religious center. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the vast Luxor Temple complex on the east side of the Nile. Developed during the New Kingdom around 1400 BCE, the temple complex boasts impressive structures and rich history.
Today, we will board a boat and start our journey down the Nile. We'll visit the Valley of the Kings to see the rock-cut tombs of Tutankhamun and other wealthy nobility dating from the sixteenth to the eleventh centuries BCE. After that, we'll see the remnants of Amenhotep's memorial temple at the Colossi of Memnon. These towering sculptures of Amenhotep III, which were erected to guard the temple's entrance, are now reduced to just two.
Next, we'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, which is the centerpiece of the Deir el-Bahri complex of funerary temples and tombs. This monument to Queen Hatshepsut is an impressive sight to behold.
Today, we'll pass through Esna Lock on our way to the temples at Edfu. Your guide will provide you with more information about the significance of these temples. The Edfu Temple of Horus, which was built between 237 and 57 BCE, is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Many of its inscriptions can still be seen today.
After dinner on the boat, you can relax and watch the sunset over the Nile. The river journey continues until we reach Kom Ombo, where we'll visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. This temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Many of the walls of its courts, halls, sanctuaries, and chambers still exist, along with wall sculptures and statues.
Late in the afternoon, we'll continue our journey to Aswan, where you'll spend the night.
Today, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Aswan High Dam, which was completed in 1970 and marked an engineering marvel at the time. It increased Egypt's arable land by 30% and doubled the country's power supply. Alternatively, you can visit the Philae Temple, whose construction began in 690 BCE and is a magnificent example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
Our next stop on the tour will be the Abu Simbel Temples, a pair of temples built in Egypt between 1279 and 1213 BCE. These temples are an impressive sight to behold and will leave you in awe.
In the evening, enjoy your dinner and the ship's night as we continue our journey down the Nile.

After that, we'll move on to Hawara (Arsinoiton polis), which was established during Amenemhet III's construction of the Pyramid Complex in the 11th Dynasty. Then, we'll head to Lake Qarun, named after the King who was buried there with all his wealth and treasures. We'll also provide lunch on the lake.
At the end of the tour, we'll visit the Waterfall and the 673-kilometer-long, 42-meter-deep valley known as Wadi El Rayan. In 1966, this depression was converted into a water reservoir when it was connected to Qarun Lake via underground pipes.
